These two were unsure if they should schedule their engagement session in the final days of winter and risk there being no snow on the ground and things looking drab or wait until spring when they could be sure there would be leaves on the trees and fresh surroundings. As you can see, they decided to take the chance on a winter shoot, all of us crossing our fingers that it would be a winter wonderland, and it paid off! We were being pelted with snow the whole session, so if I can recommend anything to those planning their own winter wonderland engagement session, it would be this: wear hats. Because the snow will melt on your head, flattening your hair, which is usually not the look people are going for. Nonetheless, these guys nailed their session and even included their dog in many of their photos, and he posed pretty perfectly I’d say. Have a gander through their engagement session for some snowy inspiration!
Session location: McKenzie King Estate ruins
Time: 10 in the morning (tried to optimize the sunshine, but we got this beautiful snow fall instead)
