As a newly engaged couple, one of the best things you can do before the wedding preps start weighing you down is document your blissful, in-love mood with a beach engagement session. The photos will serve as a precious keepsake of this magical time in your lives and are a great way to express your personality as a couple.

This nostalgia loving couple wanted their engagement photos to be captured in a place that’s very meaningful to them, so we shot an in-home engagement session.

These two lovebirds had gotten married just a month earlier when I asked them to model for me right after moving to Ottawa. I had lived in Ottawa once before for about a year, but people didn’t know me as a photographer “from Ottawa,” they knew me as a photographer… from somewhere in SW Ontario. So I figured I should find myself some beautiful models eager to show their love in front of the camera and take them for a stroll through some of my favourite spots in downtown.
