When it comes to creating a truly elevated wedding aesthetic, the right combination of setting, styling, and experience make all the difference. This intimate wedding at La Baronia Castle in Barcelona, Spain was a great example of doing it right. The ceremony was set in front of the castle’s grand entrance, featuring a massive floral installation. White and green florals always seem to create a timeless feel which we love. The silver drapery added sophistication and creativity, and on the non-stop rainy day, it reflected the light perfectly. Every carefully curated element contributed to a refined and romantic atmosphere.
From the morning bridal preparations to intimate first looks and outdoor receptions, every aspect of this Barcelona shoot was designed with luxury in mind. The black-and-white colour palette, paired with silver accents and subtle coastal elements, created an effortless yet polished look. The old European castle rooms offered a stunning backdrop for bridal portraits, while the reception on the terrace featured a candle-lit dinner setup with pearls and fine tableware. Thoughtful details like delicate veils, oyster shells, and minimalist yet striking table settings made this wedding editorial a dream for me. We believe our primary role is to document the story of you and your day—to freeze those genuine moments so that you can relive them for years to come. We understand that this day is the culmination of who you truly are and what you value. Your photo gallery should capture you—the true, messy, imperfect, worthy you—not a perfectly posed version of you.
One of the ways we capture authentic, candid moments is by shooting with film cameras. The limitations of film require a more deliberate approach, compelling us to carefully consider each frame and fully appreciate the beauty of what’s being shot. For this particular wedding at La Baronia Castle, we incorporated a lot of film photography, allowing us to capture the raw, timeless quality of the moments in a way digital photography cannot replicate.
If any of this resonates with you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We’d be happy to hop on a call or answer any questions you may have.
