Gatsby-esque Modern Elopement in Kanata, Ontario

This elopement is one for the books. The colour palette, the faux fur shawls, the sweet candid looks exchanged by family members. Believe me when I say this was a cold, winter day (technically fall, but who’s tracking?) and everyone was freezing, but dare I say, the love of these two really heated things up. If you’re worried about your big wedding day being cancelled and having to elope like these two, take it from me and know that these days can be just as magical as one that takes a year to plan.

This is what the bride had to say when they received their photos:

“Sonia, thank you so so so much!! These photos are absolutely incredible. You did such an amazing job; we can’t thank you enough. Me and Gilbert have looked over the entire gallery 3 times already and I’m sure I’ll be looking over it another hundred times. Absolutely worth the cold haha!
