Kaishia and Jonathan didn’t let covid’s striking take down their plan to get married to each other. While they did have to change their plans by moving the venue from a sprawling vineyard to their uncle’s backyard and significantly decrease their guest list to something more intimate, they had one goal — to get married.

And get married they did — and afterwards they walked by some of their close friends and family at a nearby park to say hello before we headed to the Ottawa Arboretum at the Experimental Farm (which is especially beautiful in the spring by the way). After dinner, Kaishia even surprised her new husband–who had a mouth full of food at the time–to a first dance under twinkling lights and their beautiful wooden arbor decorated with florals by the bride herself!
