Probably all of my couples in the past couple years know about Chedoke falls in Hamilton, ON now because I can’t shut up about this place. It’s magical, it’s got two waterfalls, not just one, and the hike down is a little risky, which is exactly how I like my adventure sessions. Not only that, but this place can show off adventurous couples in their natural space — out in nature where they feel most comfortable and are able to engage with each other most naturally. Or maybe I’m just biased, because I freaking love waterfalls.
Hillairy and Tom were such champs for this cold wintery engagement session. They’re a really young couple who love good music (I definitely still listen to the playlist I created for their session because they have such great taste) and just hanging out together outdoors. We ended up getting to Chedoke falls after a rainfall the day before, so the cliff was pretty muddy. Our walk down felt like a breeze compared to the way back up — when poor Hillairy lost her sandal in the mud and then slid half way down the cliff. She was totally fine, but I definitely recommend better shoes now when I shoot here haha! Here’s some sweet photos of this rad couple showing off their goofiness as they dance together, make faces at each other, and tenderly show each other affection.
