In the heart of Canadian winter, this December wedding came to life in a warm, tropical greenhouse while a brutal snowstorm whipped outside. Following the dress code, guests arrived in all-black fits and spontaneously broke out into dance throughout the day, adding a warmth and energy to the day. Later in the evening, the couple’s thank you speech ended with a surprise firework show before heading into the dance and late-night pizza and ramen stations.

Gentlemen Getting Ready

The groom looked sharp in a white tuxedo, black velvet shoes, and a black bow tie, perfectly fitting the all-black dress code for this snowy winter wedding at a greenhouse. While getting ready, he opened a surprise gift from his future bride. He received a Gucci shirt he’d been wanting and was pumped to finally have it.

Ladies Getting Ready

The groom was excited about his gift, but he had a sweet surprise for her too. On their snowy winter wedding day, he splurged on a Louis Vuitton perfume she’d been eyeing for a long time. Meanwhile, the bride was happily getting ready with her bridesmaids, a few of whom work with her at Mane Collective in Ottawa.

First Look

For their first look, the couple shared a special moment at their venue, Aquatopia Weddings, a beautiful greenhouse space perfect for their snowy winter wedding. With the all-black dress code setting the tone, their friends eagerly awaited the moment they’d finally see each other. After being together for so long, everyone was excited to see them share this meaningful moment.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place in the stunning greenhouse setting of their snowy winter wedding. The groom and the couple’s son waited at the end of the aisle, both looking sharp in their white and black attire, while the bride’s dad walked her down to join them. After saying “I do,” the couple danced back down the aisle, setting the stage for a day filled with dancing throughout.

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour was full of hugs, laughs, and plenty of photos, with everyone enjoying drinks in hand. The energy was electric as everyone celebrated the newlyweds in the cozy, snowy greenhouse setting of their all-black dress code winter wedding.

Once everyone was seated, the couple made their grand entrance with their wedding party, dancing around the tables. The guys rocked black sunglasses while the girls wore white ones. The playful vibe set the perfect tone for the evening. Dinner + Speeches

The black and white-themed menu cards paired with white roses and candles, added elegance to the tables. The groom’s son sat on his lap during dinner, as Saly predicted when we asked about what moments she especially wanted captured. There were plenty of drinks, cheers, and laughter as guests mingled, danced, and enjoyed the evening. The snowy winter greenhouse setting created the perfect atmosphere for a day the couple will remember forever.

Surprise Fireworks

A special touch the couple added was having fireworks go off at the end of their speech to kick off the night. It got the surprised guests excited and set the perfect tone for the after party to come. The fireworks were an unforgettable addition to their snowy winter wedding.
