We focus on capturing both the quiet moments and the lively ones. The fleeting exchanges between you and your partner—the ones you might not even remember unless they’re caught on camera.

To do this well, we take the time to learn about you and your relationship before the big day. This helps us anticipate moments, know where to be, and understand what’s most important to you. On your wedding day, we’ll be there like a supportive friend—sometimes cracking bad jokes to get people to smile, and other times quietly blending into the background, observing and capturing the atmosphere.

Something we hear often from couples planning their wedding is the worry that the day will feel like an all-day photo shoot, making it hard to genuinely enjoy the day. This is never the case when we’re the photographers. We work with you and your planner to create a photo timeline that captures beautiful images without sacrificing time with your favourite people—and we make sure to stick to that timeline.

Wedding photos aren’t just for Instagram—they’re meant to document one of the most important days of your life in an honest and artful way. The photos we capture at your wedding will be cherished by you and your family for generations, not just for a few hours while people like your Instagram post.

Our Philosophy

Our primary role is to document the story of you and your day—to freeze moments so you can relive them for years to come. We believe your wedding is a reflection of who you are and what you value, so the photos shouldn’t just represent the day itself but also your human legacy. Your gallery should capture the real you—the true, messy, imperfect, and worthy you—not a perfectly posed version.

Film Photography

One of our favourite ways to capture those imperfect, candid moments is by using film photography. Film pushes the user to be more intentional with each shot and to truly appreciate the beauty in every frame. And if we’re being honest, there’s an element of luck with film where you simply don’t know what the final image will look like until it’s been developed and scanned, meaning you have to be even more careful while you’re shooting, then leave the rest up to fate, eagerly awaiting what the images will look like. This mindful approach has also influenced our digital work, enhancing our overall craft and the way we document your day.

Destination Weddings

We are based in Ottawa, Canada and the majority of the weddings we photograph are within the greater Ottawa area and the greater Toronto area.

However, we are more than willing to travel to capture your wedding anywhere in Canada, South America, and the Europe Union. Our packages are always inclusive of travel, but there is a minimum investment for weddings out of the province, so please include your planned wedding location when inquiring so we can give you accurate information.
