Sailboat Engagement Photos in Bayfield Ontario
We had a great time during this engagement photoshoot on Lake Huron. The couple was laid-back and brought a fun, relaxed vibe that made everything come together easily. One person was super friendly and made everyone feel comfortable, while the other kept things light with humor.
The weather was a bit unpredictable—there were warnings of thunderstorms right before we arrived. But luckily, we ended up with just a little rain and a stunning sunset. One side of the sky was dark with clouds, and the other was clear, showing how nature can surprise us in the best ways.
Our evening began at Port Franks Marina, meeting with the generous owner of our sailboat for the photos. She told us how those in the marina often had barbecues together in the common area, painting a picture of the vibrant community. Jumping on the sailboat, equipped with a digital camera and two film cameras, we set off from the dock.
After the couple took turns steering the sailboat, we celebrated with a toast, raising glasses of champagne. Throughout the shoot, the quiet presence of their parents taking photos from the back of the boat added a nice touch.
