This time we were capturing a calm and cozy redesign for a family wanting a fresh look for their child’s bedroom and the family hangout space. Rebecca, the designer, has such a great eye—she knows how to create spaces that make both parents and kids feel excited and at home. Our job is to capture all those thoughtful choices so her work can really speak for itself. Before we dive into the jungle themed playroom, we wanted to show you the bedroom that carries through the same fun vibe.

When an eclectic musician and music masterer approaches you with the need for a new kitchen in his condo, you know something great will come out of it. Located in a bustling neighbourhood of Toronto, this condo featured a cement ceiling and industrial elements, but a kitchen that lacked the level of charm required to keep up with the homeowners’ great taste.

This sports-themed rec room transformation is a perfect example, focusing on maximizing storage for both the recreation room and the newly designed mudroom. These high-traffic spaces needed to be both functional and clean, so we made sure to highlight the thoughtful storage design along with the fun, unique details in each space.

This warm open-concept kitchen & bath with brass accents, designed by Renovottawa, blends style, function, and attention to detail. White oak flooring and custom cabinetry create seamless flow in the kitchen, while an expanded shower and refined finishes elevate the bathroom upstairs. Thoughtful textures, high-end materials, and a modern yet inviting aesthetic complete the space. We loved capturing these design choices to highlight the distinct style and vision behind this remodel.

I can’t say it enough—consistent photo quality matters. Your photos are a huge part of your online presence. Your website and social media are your portfolio and your work is judged by potential in seconds. If the lighting, angles, or editing style are inconsistent across your projects, it can distract from the design itself. Or worse, it may suggest that your actual work is inconsistent too.

A yellow & blue boys room design with lots of pattern? Yes, please. This is a great space for kids because it’s quite colourful and highly patterned, yet it isn’t overstimulating. It incorporates fun colours and bold patterns in a balanced way, and we love highlighting those thoughtful choices alongside the textures and design elements that bring it all together. I’m thrilled to share that my photos have been featured in Ottawa at Home Magazine for the second time! When I first saw this stunning bedroom design in person, I genuinely gasped. It’s beautifully layered with texture, pattern, and gentle hues. I’m also a big fan of the colour blue being incorporated into designs with natural textures, so of course I loved this bedroom. I was honoured to be involved in this modern coastal bedroom project!
